Common types of mobile spray booths in industrial applications include: mobile telescopic spray booths, mobile telescopic houses with casters, and integral mobile spray booths.

In the coating industry, organic solvents used in the coating processes of furniture, metals, etc., are a major source of VOC emissions. The types and quantities of paints and organic solvents used in surface coating processes are numerous and large. During the spraying process, some heavy, oddly shaped, and extra-long workpieces cannot effectively collect waste gas and be equipped with corresponding pollution control facilities due to the limitations of workpiece turnover and fixed spray booth space. Emissions are mainly unorganized, resulting in large VOC emissions.

Mobile spray booths, due to their scalability and mobility, improve space utilization efficiency, facilitate the movement of workpieces, and can confine the waste gas generated by spraying operations within the mobile expandable booth. Coupled with other organic waste gas treatment equipment, it can effectively reduce atmospheric VOC emissions and meet national and local emission standards. Youtai Environmental Protection has found in practical cases that there are three common types of mobile spray booths in industrial applications:

The first type is a mobile telescopic spray booth. One end of the telescopic booth is fixed, and the fixed end can be equipped with dust collection and recovery equipment or paint mist collection and treatment equipment. The other end is telescopic, facilitating the back-and-forth movement of workpieces. When preparing the workpiece, the telescopic booth retracts; when the workpiece reaches the designated area within the telescopic booth, the telescopic booth extends; after the spraying work is completed, the booth retracts, and the workpiece is moved out. This type of telescopic booth is the most commonly used, with its length, width, and height customized according to the actual situation of the enterprise.

The second type is a mobile telescopic booth with casters. This type of telescopic booth is generally small and does not require an electric motor, control box, or other automatic telescopic components; it is manually pushed. The advantage is that the booth can be moved around.

The third type is an integral mobile spray booth. The integral mobile spray booth has no folding function. The materials used are similar to those of a fixed spray booth, but it has added tracks, motors, reducers, and other moving control components. Its manufacturing cost is the highest among the three types of spray booths, requiring four sets of motors and accessories. Mobile telescopic spray and polishing booths have many advantages, providing a good collection place for industrial dust and paint mist particles, and are widely used in shipyards, boiler factories, steel structure factories, and aerospace and military enterprises.
