Applications and Classification of Pulse-Jet Woodworking Dust Collectors
Woodworking dust collectors: Used in woodworking workshops, sanding workshops, and paint workshops, these are specialized devices consisting of pipes, fans, and filters to remove sawdust, paint dust, and other particles generated during processing.
Classification: Indoor dust collectors: including ordinary bag-type vacuum cleaners, pipeline filters
Outdoor dust collectors: direct-fall dust collectors, pulse modular dust collectors, compartmentalized dust collectors
Dust removal methods: Positive pressure dust removal, negative pressure dust removal
Basic components of pulse-jet woodworking bag dust collectors:
1. Dust collection hopper
2. Dust collection ventilation pipes
3. Fan
4. Electrical control cabinet
5. Bag filter
6. Pulse air bag assembly
7. Pulse valve
Basic materials: Galvanized steel plate / Stainless steel plate / Carbon steel plate
Working principle:
Wood dust removal requires three devices: a piping system, a fan system, and a filtration system. Different configurations have different structures and functions, but the basic principle is the same, like a person wearing a mask. The pipes connect the woodworking machinery to the filtration system, and the fan creates negative pressure to suck up dust. The most important aspects are the fan configuration and the performance of the filter bags.
The fan configuration is calculated based on the number and arrangement of machines in the production workshop. This requires professional personnel to calculate the configuration to ensure that the airflow at each machine's filter interface is consistent for effective dust removal. Dust filter bags should be selected according to different environments, as the nature of the dust generated in different woodworking workshops varies.
The airflow containing wood chips is transported by the fan to the diversion chamber of the bag filter. The airflow velocity is reduced by the guide plate, and heavier wood chips fall into the ash hopper under gravity. Other lighter and finer dust is sucked upward and adheres to the outer surface of the filter bag. After filtration by the bag, the clean air enters the exhaust chamber and is discharged outside. As the filtration process continues, more and more dust accumulates on the outer surface of the filter bag, increasing the system's operating resistance and reducing its dust removal efficiency. Therefore, this system is equipped with an automatic pulse cleaning device, which consists of a pulse controller, pulse valve, quick connector, air bag, and air nozzle. According to the characteristics of wood chips, the pulse amplitude and frequency can be set on the pulse controller. After the pulse amplitude and frequency are set, the system will automatically clean the filter bags during operation, greatly increasing the filtration efficiency and extending the service life of the filter bags.
Operating instructions:
Check before starting the fan for the first time
1. Check if the electrical control cabinet is correctly connected to the power supply (380V, 50HZ, three-phase four-wire)
2. Check if the fan is correctly wired (pay attention to the rotation direction of the fan impeller)
3. Check if the pulse valves in the electrical control box are functioning normally (indicator lights)
4. Check if the pulse air bag assembly is connected to the air source (0.3-0.6MPa)
5. Check that the dust suction port of the connected machinery maintains more than 70% opening
